Our impact

#HandInHand

With our planet

When you buy at Vici Mare you contribute directly to the planet. Our garments are made with ecological nylon, in order to reduce the environmental impact caused by the textile industry. We use ECONYL brand fabrics in order to provide the best possible quality without neglecting the effects it has on our planet. These fabrics are manufactured by regenerated nylon from fishing nets found in the sea, helping combat the problem of pollution and contamination in our oceans.
Additionally, for the prints, no water or chemicals are used in the dying process, but on the contrary, the color is impregnated into the fabric through heat. Our packaging is reusable to avoid generating unnecessary waste. That is why we partnered with Ciclico who produce our turtle bags in a textile made with recycled plastic bottles and clothing scraps. Likewise, the cards and labels that accompany our products are made of 100% recycled paper.
We work with a small-scale production made up of Colombian female heads of household. We are really keen into making sure we generate the least amount of textile waste. Our collections are small and limited to ensure that our products are exclusive and valued by our clients. Our workshop is free to manage its own time, as it is them who determine the value of their wonderful work, and in the same way they determine the quantities they can produce. Understanding that it is everyone's responsibility to protect the planet, a percentage of your purchase is destined to the conservation and recovery of forest areas in the Andes, the Colombian Amazon and the biogeographic Chocó.
